CAROLE KELLY (HUMPHREYS)

Carole Kelly (nee: Humphreys) was born in Brisbane and raised in the small township of Mt Morgan, once famous for the gold and copper wealth from its mining. Carole was well known in Central Queensland through her prowess as a competitive swimmer throughout the sixties.  She later went to Brisbane to study and lived there for twelve years before moving with her family to Cairns in Far North Queensland.  Since 1980, Carole has lived in Melbourne where she has raised her daughters, enjoyed a successful career and is happily involved in her passions of swimming, ballroom dancing and writing. Always curious about what’s around the corner, she has built up an enviable travel portfolio.
